Sales are picking up in January over December.  While there is still a good selection of homes to choose from, we are seeing a slow but steady decrease in Calgary's inventory. Statistics from the Calgary Real Estate Board show an increase of 22% in sales  December 2008.  Condominium sales increased by 9.8% from sales recorded in December 2008.  Medium sale price of a single family calgary home in metro Calgary January 2009 was $374,700 showing a decrease of 1.4% from December 2008.
